WRVS Rhyl Cosy Club For Disabled People

About The WRVS Rhyl Cosy Club for Disabled People

WRVS clubs give older people the opportunity to leave the house, and to meet old friends and make new ones in a warm and friendly setting. Lunch clubs give them the chance to socialise while enjoying a hot, healthy balanced and nutritious meal.

Volunteers are needed to help run the club or centre and take part in a wide range of activities or events, prepare and serve of hot meals or refreshments where available and ensure that visitors are happy.

This is an ideal opportunity if you want to make a difference to the lives of older people in your local community, have a passion for conversation and joining in. No specific skills or qualifications required but friendly, outgoing personalities would help in this role.

Training relevant to the role will be provided by WRVS and you will be reimbursed of out of pocket expenses.

The WRVS Rhyl Cosy Club for Disabled People meets every Wednesday from 2.00 – 4.00pm at Ffordd Las Community Centre, Rhyl.
